This page is dedicated to my scurry of studio squirrels. Each with their own personality, they definitely keep things interesting.

Hunter hangs serenely on the wall of my sewing studio, keeping a close eye on everything that goes on. His arrival story is HERE.
Gentleman Squirrel aka Douglas is on the left and on the right is Lady Red Squirrel aka Scarlett. Their first appearance on the blog was HERE.
They continue to reside on the wall of the sewing studio and being such proper squirrels rarely cause any commotion.

It wasn't long after Fluffy arrived that Nutsie joined the scurry. He's already staked out a spot on one of the bookshelves in my sewing studio where he can keep an eye on everything that happens in that room. His debut on the blog is HERE.
This is Ty. His given name is "Nuts" and he was born on January 21, 1996, according to his tag). Ty joined the scurry in my studio after Younger Son discovered a table at our local library filled with a donated collection of vintage Beanie Babies. Ty now sits on the shelf above my sewing machine and his introduction on the blog is here.
Dug joined the scurry in September 2026 (one of my birthday gifts). We all know how he shouted "SQUIRREL!" in the movie, so it just seemed right to have him hang out with my studio squirrels.

After seeing the squirrels living in your studio I needed to purchase one for mine. He sits on top of a pile of fabric I hope to turn into more quilts. I think he mocks me saying I will never get to all of these projects because I get distracted easily.
While I have had squirrels visitng in the attic as evidenced by the acron shells left behind, there are as yet, no squirrels living in the quilt studio. Although maybe the ever-growing pile of UFOs mean some squirrels have slipped in at some point in time. Love the cartoon.
