Looking Good!

WOO HOO!
Spirit Song (2010) has been hung up in our foyer!

We were especially tickled to discover the almost-identical lengths
of Spirit Song and  No Rules For Julie (Lynne Tyler, 2010).
Who could have planned that?!?!

Colors of Joy (2006) is now on the back of the sofa.

On the opposite wall, above the stairs:
Vortex Interrupted (2008).

And, in another couple of weeks,
according to my contact at Martingale
(publisher of Tonya's Word Play Quilts book)
Flying Monkeys (2008) will be making its way home.
We saved its spot next to Vortex . . .
(that's a reflection, not a streak, on the wall)

I am SO glad DH has a really long ladder
and that he's willing to hang quilts!

It's Here!!!!!!!

The box from Lynne in NH arrived at my office just after lunch time on Friday.

You should have heard the squeals when No Rules was unfurled for my co-workers!

OH MY GOODNESS!

Lynne's work is absolutely AMAZING!

And the quilting Chris did is perfect!

I hurried straight back to my desk.

Dave and Friends came down so No Rules
could hang beside me all afternoon.

How much fun to watch reactions as people passed by!

42" wide x 80" long

DH took these photos after I got home ~
Lynne had specifically requested a photo
with the quilt wrapped around me
(delivering her long distance hug).

What a GREAT feeling having it pulled around me!!

There are more photos of the quilt in this album ~
you HAVE to go see the detail pictures!

I'll add more once I can take the quilt outside in the sunshine.

And then ~ No Rules will be hung on the wall
so we can enjoy it every single day!
