Ohana finally spent some quality time with Max (my APQS George long arm).
The binding was already made so it didn't take long to fully finish this gift quilt.
Ohana is the larger of the two quilts for the baby boy due in early April to our youngest nephew and wife (their second child).
The design was inspired by a vintage quilt shared on Deb Rowden's blog
The finished quilt measures 48" wide x 60" long - perfect for floor/tummy time and later in his crib.
Quilted in wide open Baptist Fans using Glide thread in Kiwi.
And this is the backing - super fun and colorful.

The quilt finished bright and beautiful. It looks great in the sunlight and the fabrics are so cheering.
I love the layout of this quilt with the long dark lines. This is sure to be a favorite quilt for the little one.

Oh, I do love a vintage inspired quilt and your version doesn't disappoint. What a riot of color - not your usual baby quilt. And your Baptist fan quilting always gives a quilt such a lovely texture. Oh, baby...that's definitely a quilt that needs a sweet baby!
