This was the "before" look above my stash shelves.
And this is the newly-updated "after" look.
I needed the wall space where my ribbons
had been hanging, so they had to be moved.
This is the wall where the ribbons used to hang.
And now CREATE WITH ABANDON
has a proper home in the design studio
just to the right of my double design walls.

After weeks of chaos in this room,
the extra colorwash-related KF Collective fabrics
have all been returned to their spots,
several other piles of fabric
have been sorted and returned to the shelves,
and both of the shop sample tops
have been completed and delivered to my LQS
for my classes there in January.
(AND the renovations that had been happening
in the bathroom on the other side of the wall
are finished with the mess completely cleaned up --
DH really enjoyed using my drafting/cutting table
to cut his long strips of wallpaper)

Love the new look! Love looking at those ribbons!
If my shelves owed like that, I would be ecstatic. I wouldn't even care about the rest of the room. All my fabric is in plastic boxes instead of on open shelves as I would need way more shelves. Fabric storage is my Achilles heel.
that looks so fresh! Love the quilt. Wonder where my ribbons got packed? Congrats on getting the jobs done. Can you keep the shelves looking so tidy while you work?
It's good to have a place for your quilt. Love the remodeling.
Small changes, can have such a positive impact. Love Tiggers quote.
Excellent work, woman! Create with abandon, passion and delight. Here's a Lady Gaga quote (I love your quote inserts, by the way) that speaks to creating with abandon: “When you make music or write or create, it's really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible, condomless sex with whatever idea it is you're writing about at the time. ” Lady Gaga Smiles! Go forth with vigor and make beauty to send out into the world -- it definitely needs it!
Love that your studio is your haven and you continually tweak it to make it even better. Your neat, tidy fabric still amazes me. I cannot even imagine what that must be like! lol
