Fabric Swap - What Fun!

A while back, Quilt Pixie offered to gather names and organize a fabric swap.  I was paired with Claire in California (she doesn't have a blog yet).  This is the ziploc bag full of fabric that she sent me...

Bag removed and bundle flipped over ... SO many pieces of fabric!

The photo below shows the pieces spread all over the top of our dining room table... hard to believe in all that there were NO duplications of any fabrics already in my stash... (there were a few where I had a piece of a different color of a particular pattern).  Lots of tiny dragonflies, scraps of batiks and novelties, orientals, and a few solids...
The smallest bits will be trimmed to 2" squares for an upcoming scrappy project.  Others will be trimmed and added to my strings and/or strip bins... SO many possibilities here!

looks like a great collection of additions for your scraps! So neat you ended up with not a single duplicate to what you already had in your collection :-)

So glad to hear your hubby is on the go forward team. These are stressful times for so many people.

Looks like a fun package of fabrics.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys... and less to clean up after, too! ;)
