Created during Vicki's HSTeria quilt-along,
these quilts each measure 45 x 66 inches.

This shot shows the backing fabric - it's the same on both quilts.
I just love the way the sunlight and breeze bring the quilts to life!
And if you look closely,
you can see my younger son
sitting on the pier holding the top edges of the quilts
so they didn't blow off into the water.
These ducks were less than a foot away from my son on the pier --
extremely curious, persistent, and vocal they were!

Karma (left) was quilted with one of my favorite pantos - Waterworld.
Poolside (right) was free motion quilted.
Karma and Poolside are "his and hers" quilts.
They'll be gifted later this year.

They turned out very nice. The setting was beautiful but I was holding my breath that they wouldn't fall into the water.
They are both really lovely!
Beautiful setting for two beautiful quilts and the quilting is marvellous.
