Created using the liberated house top method

shared in Gwen and Freddy's Collaborative Quilting book,

my Topsy Turvy quilt 

is made is the same manner as

Lynne's

Obsolescence.

Measures 67" x 67"

Younger son assisted with the photo shoot

in the sculpture garden near this building.

Windy and overcast conditions

turned into windy with rain 

in a matter of minutes,

which sent us scurrying for the car.

Thankfully we were able to get these photos,

many under the protective branches of a huge magnolia tree.

This double bench had an interestingly-shaped back.

High at both ends meeting at a low point

near the off-center middle.

We loved the size and texture of this massive tree trunk

contrasted with images of elephants in the quilt . . .
