These are all but one set of the leftover HSTs
from making the back strips for Sea of HSTs.
They are now a 13.5" x 13.5" reversible mat.
This is the back - pieced with leftover border strips.
Quilted with my well-loved liberated free motions fans.
And this is the final set of HSTs.
A single reversible mug rug at 4.5" square.
I almost like the back better than the front.
And then there were more leftover pieces
from other projects to be dealt with.
A single mug rug backed with pink and orange bits
and a double mug rug that is the same on both sides.
Two larger mats pieced with leftovers from Epicenter
and the double four-patch table topper.
Three small reversible mats

pieced with leftover strip sets
from Shift Happens.

All of your bits and pieces turned into beautiful and useful items. Thanks for the encouragement to keep those things used up instead of sitting around waiting forever in a box.
Lots of neat and pretty mats. Nice way to use up leftover fabric as well. I have been tackling my stash lately and its so nice to see the "buckets" not overflowing with fabric stash.

The fabric colors are so delightful on that first little quilt (as well as the original one - I love). AND, the backing is just so fun. It's a reversible quilt.
Great to see how you've used the leftovers from projects. Makes me think I should be more careful with my leftover bits and pieces and actually use them instead of tossing them in my parts bin.
Those are just lovely! Two questions...where do you get those display hangers and have you finished the InspiRED quilt? I am attempting a similar one. I just fell in love with yours. Thank you for being such an inspiration to just go for it and try new things!!!!!
Replying here as you are a no-reply blogger (no email associated with your comment). The hangers came from Amazon - I don't remember their actual name but they are swivel hanger clips. InspiRED is still waiting to be quilted (hopefully this year).
