Block 10 looks like this.
Block 11 is the one I'm not so sure about.
That yellow background
may be too light but I'll wait and see
how the rest of the top develops
before I change anything.
Block 12 looks great.
All 12 blocks are now on the design wall.
Time to get serious about the sashings.

You can find another version of the lego method, used with Tonya R's permission, in Tonya Alexander's 2015 book titled STASH LAB.

I hope you realize how much you have inspired me with your dumpster diving! These are truly magnificent!
The yellow does nothing for me.
Love these blocks but I'm with Millie, wrong yellow or maybe a blue?
I might do some scrap stash diving and use low volume prints for a background...hmmm!
These blocks are very pretty; great visual impact! I agree with the others that the top row, middle block, is a bit jarring; the yellow background takes away from the over-all grouping by commanding too much attention, and not in a good way. I know you will come up with a brilliant solution-- and ignoring me might just be the best answer! ;)
I like them all - and the light might be a way to keep the eye moving? I just love those colors
Your blocks are fantastic You obviously have great scraps in your dumpster.
Loving these blocks! Looking forward to seeing how the sashing goes! Thanks for linking up to 'sew stitch snap SHARE'
Such a clever way to use its of fabric. I'm keen to see the sashing now. Thanks for the link.
Such a bright, happy looking quilt. Visited the link to Tonya's site and I have the Stash Lab book on my iPad - must go and look at it again!
