Touching Base

This was the scene one morning last week as
DH and I headed to breakfast at The Folk School.

Yes, it really is that beautiful there.

* * *

Now that we are home again
we're busy unpacking, catching up,
and sorting out the many photos and memories.

I promise to share more in the coming days.

Taken during our final morning of class - we went an outdoor photo shoot
Photo will supersize if double-clicked

DH and I have been students at The Folk School
since our first classes in 2004.

Being able to teach there last week
was, for me, a dream come true.

In the words of another instructor:

"Teaching at The Folk School
is like being paid in ice cream."

I couldn't agree more.

What a wonderful experience....it is worse having to unpack than pack....but always good to be home.

I had to check out the Folk Art School website. Sounds like a fantastic experience both for students and instructors.

I believe this place to be a blessing for the creative soul, on so many levels; I know your students learned SEW much and made their teacher exceedingly proud. Well done!
