This is what I found when I went to the studio Saturday morning.
Dug had called a meeting of the sewing studio squirrels and they were getting ready to stage an intervention over the pillow project.
(left to right - Nutsie, Fluffy, Cinnamon, Dug, and Ty)
They agreed to go to their respective spots after I promised to get at least one pillow done before lunchtime.
Ta Da - pillow number one (of twelve).
By the end of the afternoon, three pillows were finished and I had the measurements well enough in hand to cut the rest of the backing pieces. The top slabs were trimmed to size and pairs of binding strips were sewn (but not yet pressed) for the nine remaining pillows.
As promised a few posts back I finally managed to get this photo of Fluffy and Cinnamon, the sibling squirrels. I'm happy to see that Cinnamon is getting comfortable enough in the studio to join in with the scurry's nonsense.

P.S. the box in the background contains waiting squares for December's utility mats, plate sorted for their various tops and backs. Those are next on the list after the pillows are done.
