Thankful Thoughts

Thanksgiving Day 2016
marks the 2,000th post on this blog.

I've had the following quotation in my sidebar
from the beginning and it still says it all.

"In everyone's life,
at some time,
our inner fire goes out.

It is then burst into flame
by an encounter with another human being.

We should all be thankful for
those people who rekindle the inner spirit."

Albert Schweitzer (1875 - 1965)

Thank you!

I'm not sure how many of the 2000 posts I've read, but a good many, and I've enjoyed them all.

Julie, May I borrow this Albert Schweitzer quotation for a blog post?
